HG Homogenizer

Application:

This homogeniser is designed for the production of cosmetics (creams, gels, emulsions), food products (sauces, mayonnaises, ketchup) or common chemicals (paints, shoe polishes, detergents). The device works in flow and makes the emulsification or homogenisation of colloidal solutions possible.

The homogeniser on its own can suck in liquids and low viscosity substances. Highly viscous substances must be fed by a pump.

The HG Homogeniser is a comb type homogeniser. It has a rotor with feeding blades and a blade cascade which rotates between the two blade cascades of the stator. While flowing fast between the blade cascades rotating relative to one another the substance is being homogenized.

The appropriate degree of homogenisation is achieved by:

ensuring proper homogenisation time- if one tank is used (the substance is drawn from one tank and piped off to the same tank),

throttling the flow- if two tanks are used (the substance is drawn from one tank and piped off to the other tank).

The device can be optionally fitted out with a main tank with a horseshoe mixer and accessory tanks for preparing a mixture of proper composition and introducing the ingredients in a proper order

The homogeniser's design allows the operator to easily disconnect it from the tanks and disassemble for washing - one should undo two nuts on the stubs and three wing-nuts on the lid.

Specifications:

output: depends on the kind of homogenized substance, e.g. in the case of ketchup (fed by a pump) - 1500 l/hour;

dimensions:

  • length - 600 mm,
  • width - 400 mm,
  • min. height - 300 mm;

drive: a 2880 rpm, 3 kW three-phase asynchronous electric motor or a 1480/2880 rpm two-speed motor;

terminals:

  • a suction stub(in the homogeniser's axis) and a dairy-type coupler with a DN 50 nut,
  • outlet stub, vertical or horizontal, and dairy-type coupler with a DN 50 nut.

At the customer's request the manufacturer can make a special version of the homogeniser, adapting it to the existing facilities or other additional requirements..
