DVam Automatic Volume Feeder for Forcemeat and Pâtés

Application:
This automatic volume feeder for forcemeat and pâtés is designed for filling metal (steel or aluminium) tins and jars with forcemeat and pâtés. The tins are transported by a slat conveyor to the feeder and stopped under the dispensers. Then they are raised together with the conveyor belt and dispensing takes place. When it is completed, the tins are lowered and transported again. If necessary, the empty tins are additionally pushed by a revolving star. The feeder fills the tins via GV volume heads (a piston pump driven by a pneumatic servomotor) with conical dividers with a passage diameter of 40 mm. The dose size is continuously adjusted (separately for each head) through changes in the piston stroke.

The feeder is manufactured in two sizes (the numbers stand for the maximum dose in ml):

Feeding takes place via replaceable dispensers which can be selected to suit the container size. The forcemeat dispensers end with flanges and the pâté dispensers end with valves closed by pneumatic servomotors. The heads draw the product from a tank situated above them. The position of the heads together with the tank can be adjusted in the vertical plane. The tank is rotary mounted and can be rotated around its horizontal axis for washing. The feeder can be equipped with a feeding pump (for replenishing the product in the tank) and with product low level sensors in the tank which actuate the feeding pump. All the feeder parts are controlled via a programmable microprocessor controller. The speed of the conveyor is regulated by a variable-speed transmission unit or an inverter.
