DCG Semiautomatic Carbonated Water Feeder


Application:
This feeder is designed for feeding carbonated liquids
liquids (clear or with previously added concentrate)
) into PET bottles with a capacity not larger than 2 l.

The feeder is manufactured in two types:

• DCG 16 - equipped with GCG-16 heads,
  
• DCG 20 - equipped with GCG-20 heads.

The digital symbol indicates the bottle neck's minimum diameter in millimetres.

The feeder is equipped with eight heads assembled in fours on two columns. Each of the assemblies works independently. Operation of the feeder consists in placing four bottles under each column and manually activating the feeding cycle which is then automatically continued. During feeding under the first column, the bottles under the second column are replaced.

The feeding cycle consist of following stages:

• lowering the heads by pneumatic servomotors,
  
• filling the bottles with gas up to the feeder tank pressure,
• feeding the liquid into the bottles to a set level within an accuracy of one millimetre,
  
• depressurising the bottles,
  
• raising the heads.

All the executing components of the feeder are pneumatic devices. The feeding cycle is controlled by an electronic generator and electropneumatic valves.

NOTE: The feeder does not carbonate water (a carbonator is needed for this purpose).
