DVae Automatic Volume Feeder
This automatic volume feeder with electrically driven heads and electrically raised dispensers is designed for feeding any kind of liquid of any viscosity, such as: water, juices, ketchup, mayonnaises, pastes, pâtés, honey, creams, gels, varnishes, oils, radiator fluids, windscreen washer fluids and foamy liquids (shampoos, dishwashing liquids, liquid detergents, etc.). Any kind and size container which stands stably on a slat conveyor can be filled.
The feeder is manufactured in four sizes:

In three versions:
- four-head
- six-head
- eight-head
with three kinds of dividers with closable (by an external or internal mushroom valve) dispensers:
- an automatic slide divider,
- a conical divider,
- a slide divider with a floating lower mushroom valve.
or with two kinds of dividers with open dispensers:
- a slide divider with suction for medium viscous liquids,
- a slide divider with a floating lower mushroom valve.
The feeder fills containers (measuring out the appropriate volume) via a GV head (piston pump). The dose size is continuously adjusted. The adjustment range, depending on the head, is:
- GV-500 - 15 - 500 ml,
- GV-1000 - 40 - 1000 ml,
- GV 3000 - 100 - 3000
ml,
- GV 5000 - 200 - 5000
ml.
The use of electric drive for the heads and dispenser raising makes for:
- the precisely synchronized rise of the liquid in the container, whereby the amount of foam forming in the latter is minimized - in the case when the dispensers are electrically raised and the heads are electrically driven;
- very easy regulation of the volume in all the GV heads simultaneously from the control panel - in the case when the heads are electrically driven.
The heads are equipped with dividers and dispensers. Containers standing on a slat conveyor with a length of 4-5 running meters are filled. The speed is continuously adjusted. Prior to feeding the dispensers are lowered and during feeding they are being raised. Once feeding ends they are fully raised (if closable dispensers are used, the dispensers are first closed and then raised) and at this moment a draining trough drives up. The feeder is equipped with adjustable gates which stop the row of containers whereby different kinds of containers can be filled. Prior to feeding the containers are centred by centring devices. The feeder sucks the liquid into a buffer tank. The tank is equipped with a cut-off valve and a float valve which maintains a constant level of the liquid. To the buffer tank the liquid must flow from a storage tank or be pumped. The dispenser lowering step and the rate of lowering and raising the dispensers are electronically controlled.
The feeder is controlled by a programmable microprocessor controller. The whole is made of acid-resistant steel.
